ABOUT RAY PREISLER

RAYMOND A. PREISLER was born in Evergreen Park, IL and raised in a very small town in Illinois. As a child he was very accomplished musician. He had a great fascination and interest in the way the world worked and during his college years became focused on science. He graduated in 1978 with a comprehensive major in Chemistry from Illinois State University with high honors. He then went on to begin a course of study in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois.

Upon leaving graduate school, Ray took a position as a research chemist. His first project, which was completed years ahead of schedule, quadrupled the size of the company. He wanted more of a challenge and moved to New York to work for a large corporation as a corporate engineer. During his tenure there he found significant growth and an opportunity to hone problem-solving skills.

In the early '80s, Ray’s interest in energy and healing became apparent; he began a regular practice of meditation. His first meditation practice was Transcendental Meditation; he has experimented with several techniques since then and still meditates for an hour each day. The biography of a magnetic healer in a book titled Born to Heal, by Ruth Montgomery increased his interest in healing and led him to chiropractic school where he graduated in 1985 with a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Upon graduation, Dr. Preisler then set up a holistic chiropractic practice in Manhattan and practiced for 12 years. During his years in private practice, he mastered numerous holistic modalities including the following: B.E.S.T. technique, Applied Kinesiology, Sacral-Occipital technique, Polarity therapy, Chiropractic Repatterning, Whole System Health Scan, Quantum Touch, Complex Homeopathy, Sports Medicine and Herbology.

After spending several years developing advanced evaluation skills, Ray then began to create a new practice focusing on Vitalism, enzyme nutrition and health coaching and is now enjoying working with clients to help them to achieve their wellness goals.
